Volunteering at Bell House

Bell House is thankful for the generosity of volunteers, without whom we could not possibly accomplish our mission.
Ongoing volunteer needs include:
- Swimming buddies to assist residents with swimming at the YMCA
- Readers to assist with the Bell House resident book club
- People to help with lawn care (raking, weeding, spreading mulch, etc.)
- Cooks to fill-in on holidays or when regular cook staff aren't available
- Assistants for various resident activities
- People to lead arts and crafts activities
- Hosts for bingo and movie parties (bring prizes, popcorn, etc.)
- Partners for wheelchair square-dancing
- Entertainers - singers, dancers, musicians, comics, magicians, etc.
- People to lead wheelchair exercise classes
- Companions for outings - shopping, movies, museums, ball games, etc.
- Instructors for computer skills
- Someone to paint ladies' fingernails
- Someone to give haircuts
