Featured Volunteer

Maura, Whitney and Connie are all Occupational Therapy students at Winston Salem State University. They recently completed a month long practicum experience here at Bell House with our residents. They spent many hours getting known our residents while learning about their varying ability levels and adaptive equipment needs. The ladies went above and beyond their school requirements as they attended and volunteered at our annual Fall Festival event. They also had a Halloween party where they wore costumes and brought goodies for all the residents. These ladies were eager to help in any capacity and have built lasting friendships with residents and staff. Thank you ladies for you volunteerism and continued support of Bell House. We look forward to a lasting partnership with you and with WSSU’s OT program!
